16 - Adaptation Of An Animal
This photograph is of a hermit crab found on the shore of lito beach. Hermit crabs are classed into the decapod custaceans grouping. Hermit crabs have long soft abdomens leaving them exposed to predators. As an adaptation, Hermit crabs salvage old shells from sea snails and mollusks to cover their exposed body. With the shell, the hermit crab can retract from danger. Also, the Hermit crabs abdomen has adapted to hook into the grooves of snail shells giving it a better fit and balance.

15 - Modified Stem Of A Plant
This image is a close up of a plant stem. The stem of a plant is like the backbone and veins of a human. The stem keeps a plant erect, transports nutrients from the roots to the stem and also produces hormones like auxin and nutrients like glucose and ATP.

14 - Cambium
Cambium is the inner tissue of a tree or thick-stemmed plants. The cambium is the region in which the phloem and xylem exist and transport nutrients throughout the plant body. The cambium in a tree has unique rings that symbolize the age of the tree.

13 - Frond
A frond is and leafy plant with many leave divisions. One class of frond is this simple fern found covering a pond.

12- Anther and Filament of Stamen
The Stamen is the male sex organ of a flower. The picture is cloudy but the jutting white part of the flower is the whole stamen, the stalk being the filament and the buds on top are the anthers. This conjunction of plant parts is equivalent to the human male sex organ in function and duty.
